Several of our Selecta One varieties made the top 25 list of Plantpeddler's annual Variety Day in Cresco, Iowa, on Aug. 7, 2026. This event highlights over 1,500 varieties in large pots, hanging baskets and garden beds from breeders across the globe.

We're proud to announce that the following Selecta One introductions made the grade among judges and visitors:

- Calibrachoa MiniFamous® Uno Double Light Pink

- Dianthus SuperTrouper™ Orange

- Trixi® combo Caribbean Cocktail

- Calibrachoa MiniFamous® Uno Yellow + Red Vein

Guests of Variety Day can vote for their favorite three varieties. Hanging baskets received most of the interest, with Calibrachoa varieties winning seven of the 25 nominations. Multiliner combos, like our Trixi combos, also made an excellent showing of the results.
