TIP: Apply PGR shortly after the pinch, when new branches are 1.5 in. (4 cm) long, to improve habit and stem strength. Use phlormequat chloride 750 ppm spray in North, daminozide 1,500 ppm/750 ppm phlormequat chloride tank mix in the South.
